Prophetic Medicine (Tibb-e-Nabawi / Tibb An Nabawi / Islamic Medicine or Prophet's Medicine) is considered the divine medicine bestowed upon Prophet Muhammad Salallaho Alaihi Wasallam through WAHEE (revelation). This form of healing is regarded as a true remedy for both the doctor and patient, applicable to the sick as well as the healthy.
Among the numerous works on Tibb-e-Nabawi, Ibn Al Qayyam Al Jauziah's book stands out as the most comprehensive. Ibn Al Qayyam, a remarkable creation of Allah, lived for 60 years yet possessed knowledge that spanned a millennium. The precision and excellence of his understanding of both Islam and Medicine are encapsulated in his book on Tibb-e-Nabawi. Notably, he emphasizes addressing the heart and soul before tending to physical ailments.
This app categorizes the principles of Prophet's medication into five core concepts that form the essence of SHIFA (healing), targeting both the heart (soul) and body:
- Healing through Belief (Yaqeen) in Allah as the sender of diseases and ultimate Healer, recognizing delays in healing as per Allah's Wisdom.
- Healing through Aa'maal-e-Saalehaat, encompassing righteous deeds, prayers, charity, fasting, Quranic recitation, remembrance of Allah, supplications, good behavior, avoidance of sins, seeking forgiveness, and more.
- Healing through the foods known to Prophet Muhammad Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam.
- Healing through the herbs acquainted with Prophet Muhammad Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam.
- Healing via HIJAMAH, a practice in line with Sunnah considered a superior treatment method in this world.
